You can view an environment using the Environment Viewer. The Environment Viewer is the central location your users will use to interact with virtual machines and other resources you’ve assigned to the environment.
Our powerful, browser-based Viewer provides an easy, fast, and intuitive way to view your environments and ensure a productive virtual lab experience.
This section provides a detailed look at some of the many features available when working in an environment.
Customizing the Viewer
CloudShare’s browser-based Viewer brings many powerful and productive features to your virtual lab, experience, or POC experience. CloudShare’s environment Viewer is a self-contained portal for accessing VMs, SaaS applications, local and external resources - and any other content you want to provide to end users.
The Viewer provides a full-featured, intuitive way to interact with your environment. It enables you to simultaneously access:
- Virtual Machines (VMs) and external resources (e.g,, public clouds) that have been set up for you.
- Additional content and resources, when provided - e.g., an overview of the lab, Instructions, files, etc.
- Built-in video conferencing features.
- Tools for collaboration - including chat and personal assistance features - when available.
To give your users the most productive and effective experience possible – whether in an experience, demo, or POC environment – CloudShare offers flexible customization options that let you control how everything is displayed to your users or participants when they access their environment.
CloudShare lets any user with sufficient role permissions customize the Viewer from two levels:
- Environment Level. Customize the Viewer in the blueprint. You can optionally store your customization in the snapshot to make it available for all current and future instances of the environment.
- Experience Level. Apply specific customization for a specific experience.
