Blueprints are created when taking snapshots. When taking a snapshot from a running or suspended environment, an authorized user can select between creating a new snapshot for an existing blueprint or creating a new blueprint.
To create a new blueprint:
- Click Infrastructure and then click the Environments List tab from the left menu. Then select the environment for which you want to capture a snapshot. Note that the environment needs to be active.
- Click the Take Snapshot button from the right menu.
- Select the Publish to the default environment blueprint. Alternatively, select the Publish to a new blueprint option, which will create a new blueprint and save the snapshot there.
Note: A blueprint can contain up to five snapshots.
