[Beta] Instructor Console – New UI and Feature Enhancements
This release introduces an enhanced, optimized Instructor Console user interface that is more informative and intuitive for instructors.
- Brand New UI: A sleeker layout with more at-a-glance information and insights, plus faster, easier access to common actions.
- Main Metrics Insights Bar: Aggregated data insights for participation, collaboration, region distribution, and performance, with interactive click-through to detailed views.
- Enhanced Thumbnails: Updated design with quick collaboration actions (Chat, Assist Me, connectivity tools) and clear Guided Journey and multi-step progress indicators (current chapter/section, pass/fail/not-started).
- Enhanced Zoom-In Mode: Participant-specific data insights (Info, Chat, Analytics) and easy navigation between participants.
During the Beta phase, to switch to the new UI and feature enhancements of the Instructor Console and/or Participants Viewer:
- Launch CloudShare and select either Training or Sales from the side menu. A list of the experiences to which you are allowed access is displayed.
- In the Experience Name column, select the name of the experience to access.
- Select the Details tab.
- Turn on the appropriate switch
(Switch to Optimized Participants Viewer or Switch to New Instructor Console) to enable the corresponding beta interface.
Note: If needed, turn the switch off to return to the classic interface.Note: Regarding the CloudShare Help Center, when you enable a Beta interface, refer to the matching [Beta] branch in the CloudShare Help Center for guidance.
[Beta] Participants Viewer – New UI and Feature Enhancements
This release introduces an optimized Participants Viewer for a cleaner, more intuitive experience, plus enhancements to existing tools:
- Improved Top Bar Layout
- Improved Left Panel Organization
- Content Panes Can Now Be Popped Out as a draggable window in a separate browser window to provide the VM workspace with more screen real estate.
- Enhanced Chat Features: A red line marks the beginning of new messages, and a badge counter on the chat icon indicates the number of unread messages.
- Assist Me Improvements: One-click request with animated icon, confirmation sound, and tooltip. The icon remains highlighted until assistance is provided.
- Fullscreen Mode Updates: Access to top bar actions and left panel items via a dropdown in Fullscreen view for uninterrupted workflows.
- Customizable Landing State: Instructors can now define whether participants start sessions in regular view or Fullscreen view via the Experience Editor settings.
- WCAG Alignment: The Participants Viewer is aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

[Beta] Creating and Managing Shared Resources
Note: Shared resources are available for Accelerate on CloudShare’s cloud.
CloudShare’s shared resources allow multiple participants to access and interact within the same virtual environment (resources) over a common network.
By linking blueprints through a shared network, instructors and participants can facilitate collaborative scenarios and group-based learning activities.
Use cases include cyber simulations or collaborative access to shared resources.
