CloudShare enables an instructor to add various types of content to appear in the Participants Viewer. Each Content item may appear as an option in the side menu and/or as a tab across the top of the Participants Viewer.
The following types of content may appear, as defined in the Experience Editor:
- Overview: Introduces the experience and provides information, tasks, instructions, and/or context.
- Guided Journey: An interactive step-by-step pane that walks participants through specific actions, features, or workflows in the environment.
- External URL: A link to an external website or web application.
- Resource: A downloadable file, such as a PDF or DOC, available for viewing within the Participants Viewer.
- Public Clouds: This Content item is displayed when external resources are being used in the environment. It provides access to the external Public Clouds log for the current Experience and also displays any available credentials for the external cloud resources currently in use.
Multiple Overviews, External URLs and/or Resources can appear in the Participants Viewer, as defined in the Experience Editor. Only a single Guided Journey can appear.
To open Content from the side menu, click its name. The content is displayed in a frame to the right of the side menu, as shown below:
To close a displayed Content pane, click on its menu name again.
While a Content pane is open, its size can be adjusted by dragging the adjustment handle on the pane.
To display the Content pane as a separate popout window, click the icon in its top-right corner.
The pane can be dragged anywhere on the screen.
To redock a popout window, simply close it. For example, by clicking the X in its top corner.
