Cost Control Dashboard

The Cost Control dashboard provides a comprehensive breakdown of your costs considering the effective rate of your account. The dashboard is designed to allow monitoring and analyzing of the organization labs’ cost utilization.

  • Total Cost per Project - Cost breakdown per project, based on user hours effective rate.
  • Total Cost per Usage Type - Cost breakdown per usage type, based on user hours effective rate.
    • Infrastructure Usage - Administrative usage - for example, creating and managing environments, blueprints, and snapshots.
    • Experience - Participants and instructors usage.
  • Total Cost per Course (Top 25) - Cost breakdown per course (top 25), based on user hours effective rate.
  • Monthly Breakdown - Monthly cost breakdown per projects, courses, blueprints, policies, and users (participants).

 

User Hours Utilization Dashboard

The User Hours Utilization dashboard is a CloudShare out-of-the-box dashboard that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of user hours. The dashboard is designed to allow monitoring and analyzing of user hours consumption and utilization.

You can get to the dashboard by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards >  User Hours Utilization.

The dashboard includes:

  • Number of User Hours Over Time - Monthly user hours breakdown over time.
  • Total Participation Hours per Project - Participant user hours ratio per project. 
  • Total Instruction Hours per Project - Instruction user hours ratio per project. 
  • User Hours Breakdown by Experience Type - User hours breakdown of instructor-led vs. self-paced experiences per usage type.
  • Total User Hours per Experience (Top 25) - User hours breakdown per experience (top 25), based on quantity.
  • Monthly Breakdown - A breakdown of monthly user hours is presented per projects, experiences, blueprints, policies, or users (participants).

 

Experiences & Participation Dashboard

The Experiences & Participation dashboard is a CloudShare out-of-the-box dashboard that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of user participation and experiences across all projects. 

You can get to the dashboard by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards > Experiences & Participation.

The dashboard includes:

  • Total Number of Participants - Total number of participants for all projects, during the selected time period.
  • Total Number of /Experiences - Total number of experiences for all projects, during the selected time period.
  • Participants per Project - Ratio of participant numbers by project.
  • Experiences per Project - Ratio of experience numbers by project. 
  • Participants per Experience Type - Participation breakdown of user engagement, per experience type (Instructor-Led or Self-Paced).
  • Experiences per Experience Type - Experience breakdown of user engagement, per experience type (Instructor-Led or Self-Paced).
  • Number of Experiences Over Time - Monthly breakdown of experience number over time, categorized by experience type.
  • Number of Participants Over Time - Monthly breakdown of participants number over time, categorized by experience type.
  • Total Number of Participants per Experience (Top 25) - Top 25 experiences by total number of participants.
  • Experience Size - Distribution of experience sizes, by number of participants.
  • Geo Distribution of Participants - Geographical distribution of participants by state or country. 

 

Attendance & Completion Dashboard

The Attendance & Completion dashboard is a CloudShare out-of-the-box dashboard that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of participants’ experience attendance and completion.

You can get to the dashboard by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards > Attendance & Completion.

The dashboard includes:

  • Total Attendance Ratio - Percentage of participants who actually attended an experience out of the total number of invited participants.
  • Total Completion Ratio (Instructor-Led) - Percentage of participants who remained active until the end of instructor-led experiences.
  • Distribution of Participant Time (In Hours) - Participation distribution by specific time intervals (in hours). Each column shows the number of participants whose total participation time falls within each interval range.
  • Total Drop-Off Rates (Instructor-Led) - Indicates how long participants remained in an instructor-led experience before leaving. Each column shows the number of participant drop-offs within specific time intervals of the experience duration.
  • Attendance & Completion Rates per Project - Breakdown by project - showing the number of invited participants, attended participants, attendance ratio, and completion ratio.
  • Attendance & Completion Rates per Experience - Breakdown by experience - showing the number of invited participants, attended participants, attendance ratio, and completion ratio.
  • Participation per User - User-level participation indicating the number of experiences attended, total participant user hours, and completion status.

 

Blueprints & Environment Utilization Report

The Blueprints & Environment Utilization report is a CloudShare out-of-the-box report that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of utilization data per environment. 

You can get to the report by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards > Blueprints & Environment Utilization.

Blueprints Utilization

The Blueprints tab of the report displays the following per blueprint:

  • Total runtime (hours)
  • Number of times the blueprint was used to create an environment
  • Storage/disk consumption (GB/hrs)
  • RAM/memory consumption (GB/hrs)
  • Number of user hours
  • Number of participants using environments of this blueprint.

To create a list of unused blueprints, filter by the parameters on the right side of the report per your own definition of low or no usage - e.g., Runtime is between 0 - 1 Hours.

Environment Utilization

The Environments tab of the report displays the:

  • Environment name
  • Blueprint name
  • Project
  • Creation date
  • Owner
  • Storage/disk consumption (GB/hrs)
  • RAM/memory consumption (GB/hrs)
  • Runtime (hours)
  • User hours
  • Inactive time (hours)

 

Resource Utilization Dashboard

The Resource Utilization dashboard is a CloudShare out-of-the-box dashboard that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of resource utilization. The dashboard is designed to enable the monitoring and analysis of resource consumption and utilization.

Access the dashboard by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards >  Resource Utilization.

The dashboard includes:

  • Total Storage / Disk Consumption (GB/Hour) per Project – Each project’s share of storage (disk) consumption in GB/hour.
  • Total RAM / Memory Consumption (GB/Hour) per Project – Each project’s share of RAM (memory) consumption in GB/hour.
  • Total Storage / Disk Consumption (GB/Hour) Over Time – Monthly average storage consumption in GB/hour.
  • Total RAM / Memory Consumption (GB/Hour) Over Time – Monthly average RAM (memory) consumption in GB/hour.
  • Storage / Disk Consumption (GB/Hour) by Regions – Storage (disk) consumption in GB/hour by region.
  • Memory / RAM Consumption (GB/Hour) by Regions – RAM (memory) consumption in GB/hour by region.
  • Storage / Disk Consumption (GB/Hour) by Storage Types – Storage consumption in GB/hour by storage type, such as Blueprints, Environments, and Cloud Folders.

 

Project Members Activity Dashboard

The Project Members Activity dashboard is a CloudShare out-of-the-box dashboard that provides a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of project members’ activities in each CloudShare Project. The dashboard is designed to enable the monitoring and analysis of experience creation and instruction, as well as participant engagement and environment ownership, for each project member.

Access the dashboard by going to Analytics > CloudShare Dashboards > Project Members Activity.

The dashboard includes:

  • Project Name – The CloudShare project to which the project member belongs.
  • Project Member Name – The full name of the CloudShare project member.
  • Project Member Email – The email address of the project member.
  • Role – The project member’s role in the project, such as Project Manager, Team Member, or Instructor.
  • Experiences Created – The number of experiences this project member created during the selected timeframe.
  • End-User Invites Sent – The number of participant invitations this project member sent for their experiences.
  • Experiences Instructed – The number of experiences this project member instructed or led.
  • Participants – The total number of participants in sessions instructed or led by this member.
  • User Hours – The total number of participant user hours consumed in this member’s experiences during the selected timeframe.
  • Attendance Rate – The percentage of invited participants who joined this member’s experiences.
  • Completion Rate – The percentage of this member’s participants who completed their experience as defined by the project’s completion criteria.
  • Environments Owned – The number of environments in the project that are owned by this project member.
