The Integration Hub loads Workato's interface inside CloudShare using an embedded frame. For this embedded view to load, your browser must allow third-party cookies for use.cloudshare.com. If third-party cookies are blocked, either through a manual browser setting or by default in an Incognito/private window, the Workato panel will fail to load and you may see an error such as "app.workato.com refused to connect" or a blocked-response error in the console, even though the page itself loaded successfully.
If you're using Google Chrome and run into this, check your third-party cookie setting: Chrome blocks third-party cookies by default in Incognito mode, and can also block them in regular browsing depending on your settings.
Enabling third-party cookies (or adding an exception for CloudShare) resolves the issue. This does not occur in Microsoft Edge or Firefox with default settings.
How to enable third-party cookies in Chrome
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (top right), then go to Settings.
- Select Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
- Choose "Allow third-party cookies." Alternatively, to keep third-party cookies blocked everywhere except CloudShare, select "Block third-party cookies," then under "Sites allowed to use third-party cookies," click Add and enter [*.]cloudshare.com.
- Reload the Integration Hub page.
Note: if you're accessing CloudShare in an Incognito window, third-party cookies are blocked by default there regardless of your regular Chrome settings. Use a standard (non-Incognito) window, or add use.cloudshare.com to the allowed sites list, which applies to both regular and Incognito browsing.
