Description
CloudShare enables configuration of networks that connect virtual machines in an environment to each other and to the public internet via CloudShare's remote access gateway.
When a CloudShare custom environment is created, it comes preconfigured with one network in which:
- All virtual machines are connected to the network, with the remote access gateway set as the default gateway for every virtual machine.
- All virtual machines are accessible via secure access.
- All virtual machines have outgoing access to the internet.
As described above, a new custom environment is created with a single preconfigured network that is ready to use. In most cases, no changes are required at this stage, but the default networking settings should be reviewed and adjusted if the application requires a specific network configuration. These settings can always be fine-tuned later, if needed.
Quick Start Steps
To review the environment network and modify it (if needed):
- In the Infrastructure page, in the Environments List page, click the name of the new Environment that was created.
- Click the Edit Environment button on the right.
- Click the Edit Networks button, as shown below:
