Description
After the initial project members are invited, the next step is to review the default policy that CloudShare has created for the project.
A policy in CloudShare controls the lifespan of every environment in the project, including how long an environment can run with virtual machines powered on, how long it remains stored, and what happens to it after a period of inactivity.
The default policy that CloudShare creates for a new account and first project is configured with a total runtime of two weeks and a total storage time of one month. This provides a safe starting point while the platform is being learned and the first trials and experiences are run.
Note: Later, additional policies can be created with shorter or longer lifetimes that match each type of experience that will be created.Quick Start Steps
