CloudShare's Participants Viewer is a designated, separate CloudShare Environment that can be accessed by anyone who has received an invitation or access link.
In this section, we will cover the features provided for a participant in the Participants Viewer:
- Accessing the Participants Viewer. Describes how participants access the Participants Viewer.
- Participants Viewer Layout and Functionality. Provides an overview of the Participant Viewer's user interface.
- Navigation: Header and Side Menu. Describes the Header elements (logo, experience name, remaining runtime, language and profile controls, full screen) and the Side Menu options for displaying content, performing VM keyboard and display actions, running environment operations and connectivity tests, uploading files, and more.
- Virtual Machine Tabs and Workspace. Each VM provides a hands-on, isolated workspace for participants to perform tasks or follow instructions as part of the experience.
- Content Panes. Provides Overview pages for general instructions, Guided Journeys for step-by-step walkthroughs, External URLs that open websites or tools, and downloadable Resources such as PDFs or documents. All are accessible from the Viewer’s side menu as popout windows.
- Participant Collaboration Tools. Chat, Assist Me, and video conferencing enable participants to engage with the instructor or other participants.
- AI Assistant. Participants can open the AI Assistant pane in which they can type questions in their own words and receive instant, context-aware answers based on previously uploaded material. This helps participants understand the current experience's content without waiting for an instructor to respond.
- Full Screen. Displays the active VM or Content page in a full screen.
The Participants Viewer is aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
